Kudo, step by step

How to get
set up.

Every Kudo step, with pictures, for anybody who gets stuck. The only money involved is your own trading deposit, which goes straight into your own broker account, not to us, and stays yours the whole time. Nothing on this page asks you for anything: your link and your login come from whoever is helping you.

Make your account

Open the broker link you were sent and fill in your details. Whoever is helping you has their own link, so use theirs rather than searching for the broker yourself.

Verify your identity

Check your email from the broker and upload your proof of age and address when asked.

Deposit

Minimum deposit is £300. This goes into your own broker account, it's your money and you can withdraw it any time.

Whatever you put in, Kudo add 50% on top as trading credit, free of charge. So:

  • Deposit £300 and you get £150 credit, leaving you £450 to trade with
  • Deposit £500 and you get £250 credit, leaving you £750
  • Deposit £1,000 and you get £500 credit, leaving you £1,500

The credit is there to trade with. Your own deposit stays yours and stays withdrawable.

Download MT5

Search MetaTrader 5 in the App Store or Google Play and install it. It's free, and it's the app you'll actually place your trades in.

Get MetaTrader 5, not MetaTrader 4. They look similar and only 5 will work with your account.

Link your account in MT5

You should now have your account open, verified, deposited, and the MT5 app downloaded. This step connects the two, so your app is showing your real account.

Open MT5, tap the menu → Manage Accounts → '+' → Login to an existing account. Search for Kudo as the broker, then enter the account number and password the broker emailed you.

You'll know it's worked when your balance appears in the app. If it doesn't, it's almost always the server name or a mistyped password, so message us and we'll sort it in a minute.

Activation

Proving the account works

Ten quick practice trades confirm the account is set up correctly. All at 0.01 volume, the smallest size there is, so this stays low risk.

Add EUR/USD to your watchlist

In MT5, tap the search icon in the Quotes tab, type EUR/USD, and tap it to add it.

Place 10 trades to activate your account

This is a live account, but these 10 trades are purely for set up, to prove it's connected properly and that you know how to open and close a trade. You're not holding these open or actually trading with them.

  1. Tap Trade at the bottom, then the + in the top right.
  2. Check the middle of the screen says EUR/USD.
  3. Set the lot number in the middle to 0.01.
  4. Press Sell by Market.
  5. Repeat 4 more times, 5 sells in total.
  6. Now do the same again, but press Buy by Market instead, 5 times in total.
  7. Head to the Trade tab, you'll see all 10 sitting open.
  8. Press and hold each one, then press the orange Close banner, for all 10.

This confirms your account is genuinely connected and that you know the open/close mechanics, all in one go. Since this is for set up purposes only, close each one straight after opening it, don't leave them running.

Send your two screenshots

Two screenshots, both from MT5:

1. Your closed trades. Go to the History tab and take one screenshot showing all 10 closed trades together.

2. Your deposit and credit. Go to the Trade tab with nothing open and take a screenshot showing your balance and your credit, so we can see the deposit landed and the credit has been added.

Send both to whoever has been helping you, along with your full name, phone number, email, how much you deposited and your account number. They do the rest and send your login back to you.
